The CONSAC ImageMakers 2011 Sign Competition Awards were held recently in Mississauga, Ontario and were apart of the 2011 CONSAC Imagemakers Tradeshow and Conference. The awards aim to showcase the amazing talent and technical ingenuity within Canada’s sign industry. This year’s awards highlighted achievements in a total of 15 categories as well as the awards top honour, the Best In Show Award, which was chosen from a whopping 31 entries. Each category had a Premier Award winner and an Award of Merit winner.

The judges for this year’s sign awards were Ian Gregory, Professor of Environmental Graphic Design at George Brown College; Jerri Johnson, Professor of Graphic Design at George Brown College and Rae Townsend from i.task Inc, a recruitment solutions company.

This year’s Best in Show Award was given to Pride Signs Limited for their multi coloured LED with Controller channel letter sign.
